About the ride

Welcome to the Bowle Buster 300, a premier event in the randonneuring calendar designed to challenge your legs and stir your soul. While this legendary route is historically well-known for starting and finishing in the beachside community of Port Elgin, this year features an exciting logistical twist: we are starting and finishing in the scenic port city of Owen Sound! This shift delivers an entirely fresh dynamic, setting you up for immediate dramatic vistas and rolling ridge-line riding through the heart of Ontario's stunning Bruce and Grey Counties.

Stepping out from Owen Sound, the route travels in a sweeping, beautifully orchestrated counter-clockwise loop. You will trace the edge of the majestic Niagara Escarpment, drop into stunning river valleys, and glide through pristine farmlands before returning to the sound.
