# Randonneurs Ontario

> Randonneurs Ontario is the provincial organization for non-competitive long-distance cycling (randonneuring) in Ontario, Canada. Affiliated with Audax Club Parisien and Randonneurs Mondiaux.

Randonneuring is long-distance cycling where riders follow a prescribed course and must complete it within a time limit. Events range from 200 km brevets to 1200 km grand randonnées. Riders are self-sufficient and must check in at controls along the route. The organization has four regional chapters: Toronto, Ottawa, Huron, and Simcoe.
